Official Rules – Kampf Machinery North America Raffle

 

Eligibility: The Kampf Machinery North America Raffle (“Raffle”) is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Kampf Machinery North America Inc. (“Sponsor”) and its affiliates, as well as their immediate family members, are not eligible to participate.

Entry Period: The Raffle begins on April 1, 2025, at 12:00 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on June 30, 2025, at 11:59 PM ET (“Entry Period”). Entries submitted before or after the Entry Period will not be eligible.

How to Enter: Participants may enter the Raffle by visiting the Kampf Machinery North America Raffle webpage at https://www.kampf-usa.com/united-we-slit/ and completing the entry form as instructed. Limit one entry per person during the Entry Period. Additional entries beyond the specified limit will be disqualified.

Prize: One (1) winner will receive a free 3-day preventive maintenance and training visit for their Kampf or Atlas slitter machine. The visit includes the following:

• 3-day preventive maintenance (PM) at no charge
• Free training for your operators (if required)
• 8 hours of working time per day
• All travel and accommodation expenses covered
• After three days of preventive maintenance, the machine will be fully audited

 

Exclusions: Replacement parts will be identified during the maintenance but are excluded from the prize.

Winner Selection: One (1) potential winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. The drawing will be conducted within seven (7) days following the end of the Entry Period. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Notification and Claiming the Prize: The potential winner will be notified by email within 7 days of the drawing date. To claim the prize, the potential winner must respond to the notification within 7 days and provide their full name, address, and other requested information as instructed.

Scheduling the Maintenance Visit: The winner must provide a 3-week advance notice for scheduling the visit. The prize visit must occur before November 30, 2025, subject to the availability of Kampf Machinery North America’s service experts.

General Conditions: Kampf Machinery North America Inc. reserves the right to cancel, suspend, and/or modify the Raffle, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Kampf Machinery North America’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Raffle, as determined by Kampf Machinery North America Inc. in its sole discretion.

Release and Limitations of Liability: By participating in the Raffle, participants agree to release and hold harmless Kampf Machinery North America Inc., its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Raffle or receipt or use of any prize, including, but not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the Raffle; (b) technical errors related to computers, servers, providers, or telephone or network lines; (c) printing errors; (d) lost, late, postage-due, misdirected, or undeliverable mail; (e) errors in the administration of the Raffle or the processing of entries; or (f) injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from participant’s participation in the Raffle or receipt or use of any prize. Participant further agrees that in any cause of action, the Released Parties’ liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Raffle, and in no event shall the Released Parties be liable for attorney’s fees.

Disputes: Except where prohibited, participants agree that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Raffle or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in Connecticut, USA.
